Creating reusable and flexible layout components is key to building scalable web applications. In this post, I’ll walk you through a layout component I developed using React and TypeScript. It includes subcomponents for a banner, a sidebar, and a content area, making it easy to structure any page with consistent styling.

The Goal

The goal was to build a layout system that:

Is reusable for different pages.
Provides flexibility in how its parts—like the banner, sidebar, and content—can be customized.
Uses TypeScript to ensure type safety and better development experience.

Implementation

1 - The main Layout component serves as the container for the entire page. Here's the implementation:
